- Today eyebrows are a separate element of style. How not to be mistaken in choosing their shape?
- The main rule here, as in fashion, is not to chase every new trend. If a model with wide bushy eyebrows appeared on the cover of a fashion magazine - unfortunately, it is not a fact that these are right for you. Conversely, when everyone around you asserts that " strings " are not in vogue, you should not abandon this shape if it suits your face contour successfully.
You should also be careful about painting. It's not even that the master will choose the most natural color, it's a matter of experience. It is better to set aside 20 minutes a month to visit an eyebrow than trying to draw a second eyebrow exactly like the first one every morning. Yes, perhaps over time you can fill your hand, but how much discomfort and uncertainty will be experienced before that?
- How do you choose an eyebrow model for your clients? What influences the choice of their shape?
- The first thing I pay attention to is the shape and features of the face. Round face, for example, fit the curved eyebrows, square - arched, and in the case of the party, a "heart" I'll never make a choice in favor of eyebrows with drooping tips. Then I think about the proportions and think about the color of the paint, if there will be coloring. It is important to take into account the color type here, because a correctly selected pigment refreshes the face and emphasizes the color of the eyes.
- What materials do you prefer for coloring?
- It all depends on the wishes. If the client wants a more natural look, then I will opt for paint, because it only dyes the hairs. But there are those who want more graphic, expressive eyebrows. This can be achieved by staining with henna, because the pigment also remains on the skin and gives the effect of tinted eyebrows. It is because of the property of henna to tint the skin that I choose this material also when the girl has rare eyebrows, because henna perfectly fills the void between the hairs and creates the effect of thick eyebrows.
- Are there any differences in durability between these two dyes?
- I can't say that the difference is striking - the paint stays on the hairs for about three weeks, and henna - about a month. At the same time, henna usually lasts from 7 to 14 days on the skin. But here, too, much depends on individual characteristics: for some, the paint holds better, and there are girls from whom it is washed out earlier.
Also, if a girl comes to me who has dyed a blonde from a brown-haired woman, then her eyebrows also need to be lightened so that everything looks natural. I can do this only with paint, henna will not cope. And if a client comes to me with a tattoo, then I will choose henna, because henna tints the skin, which means she can paint over the tattoo.
- What advice would you give to those who go to the eyebrow modeling procedure for the first time?
- First, put the tweezers aside and let the eyebrows grow out a bit. Believe me, a professional master will make the shape that suits you. Second, think about how many beautiful things you can do each morning while you used to spend shaping your eyebrows.
